  • ITV America

    ITV America is behind some of the biggest brands on American television and is the largest independent non-scripted producer in the US. Shows in their current portfolio include Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey, Queer Eye, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, The Four, Duck Dynasty, Cake Boss, and Pawn Stars. In 2018, ITV relocated production studios from California and New York City to Stamford creating 450 new jobs in the process at a brand-new state-of-the-art production center in the Harbor Point neighborhood.

  • Bridgewater Associates

    Bridgewater Associates is the world’s largest hedge fund, with over $150 billion under management globally. Founded in 1975 and headquartered in neighboring Westport, CT, Bridgewater has been setting new standards for investment management for decades thanks to its founder, Ray Dalio. In 2017, Bridgewater consolidated their Norwalk and Wilton offices to Harbor Point in Stamford, bringing in over 500 jobs. The company has plans to create hundreds of brand new jobs in its new office along the Stamford waterfront.

  • NatWest Markets

    After moving their North American headquarters to Stamford in 2008, The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) underwent various structural changes to ensure the long-term success of the massive bank. In 2019, the North American investment banking operation known as RBS Securities, was rebranded as NatWest Markets. The company provides tailored financing, risk management, and trading solutions to its customers specific to their individual circumstances. Over 500 people work at their North American HQ in Downtown Stamford.

  • AXA XL

    For over 20 years, XL Group has maintained its United States headquarters in Stamford with a focus on reinsurance. Their Americas reinsurance subsidiary ‘XL America’ is also located at a separate office in the city, contributing to Stamford’s large reinsurance sector. In 2015, XL Group merged with Catlin Group and in 2018 merged with AXA, creating AXA XL, the #1 property & casualty insurance provider in the world. With over 400 employees in Stamford, AXA XL is one of the city’s largest employers.

  • KPMG

    KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services, and is one of the “Big Four” accounting organizations. For nearly 40 years, KPMG has provided top notch professional services from their Stamford office to many of the locally headquartered corporations. In 2018, KPMG announced they would be adding 110 new jobs by 2021 bringing their local contingency to roughly 450 in Stamford, and would move to a larger office adjacent to the Stamford Transportation Center.

    Founded in 2012, Half Full Brewery has been serving unique craft beer in the city’s Waterside neighborhood at their brewery and tasting room. Their newly redesigned tasting room is a renovated urban space with living room-style seating featuring furniture from Stamford-based Lovesac, which compliments the brewery’s 12 rotating beers on tap. Half Full is a regular partner with local organizations, hosting events such as ‘Symphony on Tap’ with the Stamford Symphony, ‘Brews on Bedford’, and the Hey Stamford! Food Festival.

Founded in Stamford almost 100 years ago, the former postage meter manufacturer has evolved into a rapidly growing and innovative technology company with over 1,000 local employees.
